Ash Adams

Ash Adams is an American Actor and award winning filmmaker. He first came into the public eye as Johnno Ryan on the popular 80s daytime drama Ryan's hope.(3 yrs ABCTV NYC) After returning to LA, ABC hired Adams to star in the Stephen J. Cannel' two hour pilot mow Thunder boat row. Ash continued as a TV heavy throughout the 90's guest starring on the hit series The Young riders (Two part season finale) VIP Renegade Adam12 FBI Beverly Hills 90210 Dragnet and finally taking the lead as Max Hauser in the international cult hit Series Acapulco bay (60 episodes) for Fox/Televisa . In the early aughts, Adams focused on making films. His first two won him awards at Rhode Island International film festival (Roving eye documentary festival) for best documentary(The Distance )and the Malibu int film festival's Audience choice award for After the past. Adams followed with the multi award winning feature film Once fallen which he wrote/directed and co starred in with Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, Peter Weller and Taraji Henson. Ash followed Once fallen with two award winning shorts and optioned White cargo By New York Times best selling author Stuart Woods. He co starred in 2016 feature An LA minute with Gabriel Byrne and wrote /produced and starred in the feature Carbon canyon. Adam's spent several years developing and directing celebrity PSAs for the marine mammal care center helping to raise over a million dollars for injured Seals and Sea lions. During the past three years Patriot picture's CEO Michael Mendelsohn took on White cargo to produce and finance with Adam's directing and to adapt two novels, the YP novel Emerge, and the graphic novel, Valentine. In 2021 Ash co starred with Bruce Willis and Luke Wilson in Gasoline alley. In the summer of 2022, Ash created the podcast, On being a Gangster and in 2023, Ben Stiller's Red hour films picked up the True crime podcast. In 2025 Adams’ wrote, directed and starred in the feature film Razor boy which is set to premiere in early 2026. Adams lives his wife in the people’s republic of San Pedro, CA. Ash is repped by UTA.
