As a youngster Paul lived at 51 North Street, South Bank near Middlesborough. He had a baby brother who died of Blue Baby Syndrome. Another brother, Trevor is a musician and organist. Their father was Handel Newton Daniel and when he went to
register Paul's birth the registrar added an s so changing the family's name to Daniels. His grandparents had high hopes for
his father hense christening him Handel, for music and Newton for science and while he served time as an electrician he
could make anything out of wood, metal and plastics and do anything with electronics.
