Biography

Jeffrey Doe is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker whose work has premiered at Sundance, Cannes, and Telluride. Starting his career as an editor of MTV Award-winning music videos, Jeff then transitioned to documentary, cutting We Sold Our Souls for Rock 'n Roll for famed "rock-u-mentary" director Penelope Spheeris and the Grammy Award-winning Runnin' Down a Dream for director Peter Bogdanovich, about the life and career of the late Tom Petty. Other notable editorial work includes Soundtrack for a Revolution, directed by Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman; Salinger, about the famously reclusive author; and the Emmy Award-winning Sting: All This Time. His television work includes American Experience: God in America, directed by Greg Barker; the Barbra Streisand Netflix special Barbra: The Music, The Mem'ries, The Magic!; and That Animal Rescue Show, directed by Bill Guttentag and Richard Linklater. Wick is Pain is Jeff's directorial debut.
