Biography

Robert Donavan is a proven veteran as an actor in television and motion pictures. He has always embraced the idea of studying technique and theory, and then practicing them in the films in which he has appears. He still finds time to study his craft in between film assignment.

He has had the good fortune to study with the legendary Harvey Lembeck. Members of his class include Robin Williams, John Ritter, and Academy Award nominee for Best Actress, Sally Kirkland. He has also studied with the highly respected James Best. Robert is currently studying with the acclaimed teacher, Kimberly Jentzen.

Robert has worked with directors Brandon Slagle, Robin Christian, Rolfe Kanefsky, Elliot Feld, Wayne Kramer, Fred Olen Ray, and Thomas Callaway.

The number of films in which he has appeared now numbers over 130. They cross genres from comedy, to drama, to science fiction, the supernatural, and to horror. He has portrayed scientists, secret agents, border patrol officers, military officers, FBI agents, drug dealers, psychiatrists, morticians, cowboys, and priests. His most recent films have him paired with the likes of Richard Grieco, Robert LaSardo, and Michael Madsen.

The voice over industry has been a good fit for him, having voiced quite a few commercials, which include the voice of Yahoo Fantasy Football, and the Toyota Fantasy Football Hall of Fame.

Retirement is a long way away for Robert, and he has said he fully expects to work through lunch on the day of his funeral.
