Jonathan Firth is known for playing Prince Albert in the sweeping BBC mini-series
Victoria & Albert (2001). He is one of the most prolific actors in British contemporary drama, appearing in
Father Brown (2013),
Holby City (1999),
Poirot (1989), "Luther" (2003), and a memorable guest appearance on the American series "Ghost Whisperer" (2006). After graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London (1989), Firth landed several television roles, most notably as the tormented Fred Vincy in the landmark British mini-series
Middlemarch (1994), and the highly complex Sergeant Troy in the award-winning remake of
Far from the Madding Crowd (1998). He created the role Soren in the popular "The Prince and Me" franchise (2006 - 2010). He graciously bears the cross of being known as
Colin Firth's more handsome and witty younger brother.
