Biography

a.k.a. Dana, Hong Kong based Japanese filmmaker. Born 1973, his first short film Traffic Jam won the Distinguished Award at the Hong Kong Independent Short Film Awards (ifva) in 1996, and documentary debut Development Hell (2007) premiered at Hong Kong International Film Festival, followed by New York Asian Film Festival. In 2007, he joined Media Asia as senior production officer, resumed screenwriting job since 2011, his works include Sky On Fire (2016), I Miss You When I See You (2018) & Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019)
