Justin Hardy

Dr Justin Hardy is an award-winning, academically-accredited writer, director, and producer based professionally in London, United Kingdom. His body of work is grounded in the marriage of historical academia with the creation of engaging drama and documentary. Hardy's filmmaking is keenly inspired by his longstanding commitment to the study of history as an alumnus of several prestigious UK institutions, including the University of Oxford and University College London. Hardy roots his gripping films and television programmes in academic rigour through writing and direction that is concordant with relevant insight into educative entertainment. A passion for historical excellence is central to Hardy's work, which is always uncompromising in its commitment to the latest research and knowledge in his areas of expertise. In addition to three forthcoming books on the relationship between the study of history and the discipline of filmmaking, Hardy also teaches in the capacity of lecturer at UCL, where he completed his PhD in 2023.
