Genie Joseph

Genie Joseph was born on Long Island, New York and attended Fordham University in New York City. She first began appearing in explicit hardcore movies in the mid-1970s. Genie's college studies crossed over with her work in adult films when she wrote her academic dissertation "And They Knew They Were Naked: Behavior (and the Role of Sexuality) in a New York Subculture" in 1977. Among the notable directors Joseph acted in X-rated pictures for are Shaun Costello, Carter Stevens, Radley Metzger, Joe Davian, Chuck Vincent, Roberta Findlay, and the Amero brothers John Amero and Lem Amero. Using the alternate name Eve Milan, Genie wrote, cast, directed, and edited three early entries in the still popular and profitable porn parody genre: Flash Pants (1983), The T & A Team (1984), and First Time at Cherry High (1984). In the wake of making these movies Joseph went on to eke out a mainstream film career.
