LaTonya is a Warner Robins, Georgia-native who attended Chicago's Roosevelt University on scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Excelling in theatrical arts, she won the prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role of "Lorrell" in Dreamgirls. LaTonya toured the country wowing audiences in the inaugural Broadway National Touring productions of "Little Shop of Horrors" and "The Color Purple". LaTonya appeared on numerous television shows, commercials, in national print ads and billboards for Coca-Cola and more and has recorded and released several music projects available now on all digital platforms.
