Skillful, passionate, and dedicated to her craft, Julianne Kaye is one
of the hottest celebrity makeup artists in the industry today. With
over 16 years of experience under her belt, Julianne has established
herself as the go-to expert for all things beauty. As a staple in the
makeup world, Julianne's work can be seen in action not only on the red
carpet, but also in print features [including being published in
outlets such as Harper's Bazaar, Rolling Stone, and Shape Magazine],
television commercials, music videos, films, and more. Past
high-profile clientele include celebrities such as Britney Spears, Kate
Hudson, Eva Mendes, Sophia Bush, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Scarlett
Johanssen, and Queen, to name a few.
In March 2012, Julianne can be seen as the on-camera makeup artist and
official Maybelline Beauty Expert for the brand new, NBC series
"Fashion Star" starring Elle Macpherson, Jessica Simpson, John
Varvatos, and Nicole Richie. The series will give 14 unknown designers
the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their
collections in three of America's largest retailers: Macy's, H&M, and
Saks Fifth Avenue. Each week the show will begin with an exhilarating
fashion show unlike anything seen before featuring musical
performances, dancers, and models in front of a studio audience.
When not working on television shows and with her celebrity clientele,
Julianne focuses on her website, RevolutionBeauty.com, an outlet she
launched in 2008 in which she showcases video tutorials with makeup
enthusiasts around the world. She shares, "I really wanted to create a
blog that women could actually learn something from. Most of the blogs
I had seen just seemed like beauty reviews, rather than those great
tips and tricks that women are after. I wanted to give women valuable
information from an expert's point of view." With a huge following on
both RevolutionBeauty and YouTube, Julianne's videos have garnered well
over a million views. Beyond Julianne's career as a make up artist, she
is also a Harper Collins published novelist - having penned "Pop Tart"
in 2009. "Pop Tart" follows Jackie O'Reilly, an aspiring makeup artist
who as always dreamed of working a high-profile Hollywood career. After
making her dreams a reality, Jackie finds herself working with
America's "it-girl" Brooke Parker and the story centers on the ups and
downs in pop culture stardom. The book is available globally in an
American edition, a Spanish edition, and a British edition.
