Glenn Kiser began his film career as a messenger for Propaganda Films in 1991, eventually working his way up to serve as the company's Executive in Charge of Post-Production, working with directors such as David Fincher, Spike Jonze, Neil LaBute, Jane Campion, and Barry Levinson.

From 1999-2010 he was the VP & General Manager of Skywalker Sound, a division of Lucasfilm Ltd, which provides post-production services for film, television, games, and digital media. While at Skywalker, he oversaw sound work on projects as varied as Avatar, The Incredibles, Million Dollar Baby, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Shortbus. During his tenure, Skywalker artists received a total of 25 Academy Award-nominations for Best Sound and Best Sound Editing and won twice.

In 2014 Kiser was named the Director of the Dolby Institute, the training and education initiative of Dolby Laboratories.
