Margaretha Krook was a Swedish stage and screen actress. In 1948, she was accepted to the Royal Dramatic Training Academy[ and made her student debut that same year as Bettsy in "David Copperfield". After graduating in 1951, she was engaged at the city theatres in Norrköping 1952-1954, Helsingborg 1955-1957 and Gothenburg 1958-1959. In the early 1960s she was part of the National TV theatre ensemble. In 1962 she returned to the Royal Dramatic Theatre and remained there until she made her last appearance in "Lyckans dar/Happy Days", in 1999. Margaretha Krook participated in over 100 theatre productions and more than 50 feature films and TV-productions.
