Biography

As a screenwriter, Ludlow's adaptation of The Call of the Wild (1997), received critical acclaim. He then scripted the 2008 Lifetime TV movie Storm Cell (2008). He also adapted the Canadian novel "Tracing Iris", which became Movie Central's The Riverbank (2012). He most recently wrote the independent feature film Naked Dragon (2014).

But Ludlow is perhaps best known as a producer. He produced the Lions Gate/WWE Films feature The Condemned (2007) in 2007. He has - at one time or another - set up features at nearly every Hollywood studio, including Disney, DreamWorks, Universal and Fox.

In television, he produced the highly rated CBS television movie Anya's Bell (1999), which won the Schepens Eye Research Institute's Vision Award and was nominated for a Humanitas Award. He was an Executive Producer of the Lifetime/CTV television movie - Eight Days to Live (2006), which was the most-watched TV movie in Canadian history and was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best TV Movie. He was also an Executive Producer of the second most-watched TV movie in Canadian history - In God's Country (2006) for Lifetime/CTV, which was also nominated for a Gemini Award for Best TV Movie, and won the 2008 Canadian Film and Television Production Association Indie Award for Best TV Movie. Ludlow Executive Produced the Lifetime/CTV television movie She Drives Me Crazy (2007), and the CTV television movie The Good Times Are Killing Me (2009). Both movies were also nominated for Gemini Awards, but it was the former that won the 2010 Gemini Award for Best TV Movie. Ludlow was also an Executive Producer of the Shaw/Slice reality TV series Child Star (2014). He was then a Supervising Producer of Baroness Von Sketch Show (2016) and was most recently an Executive Producer of the drama series Clean Sweep (2023), as well as the films The Amityville Curse (2023), Jingle Bell Love (2024), Merry Little Mistery (2025), and Jingle Bell Wedding (2025).

Ludlow was born in England, but grew up in Vancouver, B.C. He resided in Los Angeles for many years and now lives in Montreal.
