His Sherlock special won the Emmy for Best Single Television Movie. Good Omens Nominated for 3 Primetime Emmy Awards. Another 7 wins & 15 nominations. Douglas Mackinnon is a hugely experienced television drama Director with a proven track record of delivering engaging, original and distinctive shows to global audiences. Shows he has directed have won and been nominated for Emmy's, BAFTA's and many other awards, including Best Director in the BAFTA Scotland awards. He show-ran S1 & 2 of Good Omens and Anansi Boys for Amazon.
