John got his start in TV when he and some college pals turned his university project into an award-winning national kids' series. Since then, he has written, produced and/or directed hundreds of television episodes in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. He has also sat on panels and conducted workshops at Banff, Kidscreen, TAAFI and others, as well as guest lecturing at many college media programs. He is also a co-founder of the BIPOC Film & TV Kids TV training initiative, which has successfully helped create more diversity within the kids' media creative community.
