Barbara Michaels

Barbara Michaels is one of the pseudonyms of the prolific author Barbara Mertz. Barbara Mertz has a Ph.D in Egyptology from the University of Chicago, and has written non-fiction under that name. Under the names of Barbara Michaels and Elizabeth Peters she has written over 60 novels. Several of her stories written as Barbara Michaels have been adapted for television.
