Shareen Mitchell is a Palestinian and Lebanese / American actress born and raised in Cairo and New York. She is a graduate of Smith College and is a proud and active lifetime member of The Actors Studio. She is a producer, playwright and screenwriter. Her solo play with music, "Who Are You" was produced in 2022 at The Greenway Court Theater in Los Angeles and is in development as a full scale musical in collaboration with Witz End Productions.
Shareen partnered with her sister Oriana Cyprus to form Two Sisters Media. Their first film is the feature length " A Tantalizing " starring John Cullum and Shareen Mitchell. The script was adapted by Shareen and is based on the one act play by William Mastrosimone. A Tantalizing is garnering awards in the 2025/2026 festival circuit. Two Sisters Media is in preproduction on a short, " Dirty Ayrab, Dirty Ayrab " an autobiographical piece written by Shareen that concerns their early assimilation in America as Arab children. They are in development with a feature film, " The Team " a winning story of a bullied young Amish boy and his team of malformed horses.
Shareen was a series regular on the ABC series "Hudson Street" starring Tony Danza. She has recurred and guest starred on countless network shows and played Virna, Shawn's mom on " Boy Meets World.
In 2004 Shareen to a break from acting and created a notable and popular bi-coastal vintage store. Shareen Vintage became the subject of countless news articles, discussions on fashion and trend, and a reality show, Dresscue-Me produced by The World of Wonder. The show aired on Discovery's Planet Green.
Shareen has created the unique performance space Studio 17, a 70 seat theater in the Flatiron district of New York.
She is happily single and child free. She enjoys her time acting, writing, producing and promoting the work of other artists.
