Cynthia DeCure is a bilingual actress and dialect coach. She was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Puerto Rico. She is known for her acting on Murder, She Wrote (1984), The Mambo Kings (1992) and The Playground (2013). She is also a dialect coach specializing in accents of Spanish (Orange is the New Black) (The Affair). She is on faculty at Yale Drama teaching dialects and speech. She has been married to Reef Dance, Bluebird Rising, author/lawyer John DeCure. They have three children.
