Biography

On assignment, Deborah has written ten TV movies, numerous TV episodes, including two years as a staff writer for NBC. She has sold two original spec feature films, completed two more per assignment, and optioned two others.

Deborah was a recipient of the prestigious Hawthornden Literary Fellowship where she was invited to spend a month as a writer-in-residence in Scotland. Her novel Lost In Thought about free will and conscious decision-making was published in 2024 by Koehler Books. Her first novel was a semi-finalist for the William Faulkner-William Wisdom Writing Award given by the Faulkner Society in New Orleans, LA. She has two previously published books: Primal and 2 Broads Abroad. She is a part-time editor for the ethics magazine After Dinner Conversation.

Deborah has two award-winning plays written in 2018 & 2019.
