Biography

Born to Ringo Starr and Maureen Starkey on September 13, 1965 in London, England. Godfather Keith Moon bought Zak his first set of drums. He started to drink heavily when he was 15, and got sober after he met Sarah Menedikes. Secretly wed his wife, without letting his parents know until the next day. On September 7, 1985, Zak became a father, to Tatia Jayne, making Ringo the first Beatle grandfather. Toured with The Who, as well as Ringo and his All-Starr Band. In 1994, donated blood, white blood cells, and bone marrow for his mother Maureen, who was sick with leukemia. Sadly, on December 30, 1994, Maureen died. Zak, along with other members of the family, was at her bedside.
