Debra Olson-Tolar is an American actress with a rich academic and artistic background. She earned her B.A. in Theatre from University of Northern Colorado, graduating summa cum laude, and performed in summer stock productions at The Little Theatre of the Rockies.
After starting a family, she pursued a Ph.D. in Speech Communication at University of Denver and went on to become a college professor. She taught courses in storytelling, public speaking, screenwriting, and other areas of communication. Following many years in academia, she chose to leave her full-time teaching position to devote herself fully to her passion for acting.
