Adam Vernier

Adam Vernier is an accomplished actor whose career spans across film, television, theater, and commercials. His passion for entertainment ignited at a young age when, at just five years old while living in Chicago, he auditioned for and became the second choice for the legendary role of "Danny" in The Shining. That early experience set the tone for a career that would see him tackle a wide range of roles with depth and versatility. Adam's impressive body of work includes the recurring role of Sheriff Harold Guidry on Queen Sugar (OWN, seasons 3-7), Gavin in Outer Banks (Netflix, seasons 1-2), and Coach Johnson in the upcoming The Runarounds (Prime Video, season 1). He also portrayed Officer Jim Tuttle in Robert Kirkman's Outcast (Seasons 1-2), and has made appearances in numerous feature films, industrials, plays and commercials. Whether on screen or stage, Adam brings a commanding presence and a nuanced approach to every character. In addition to his acting work, Adam is a dedicated advocate for his fellow performers as a long-time board member of SAG-AFTRA. Outside the industry, he is a licensed Notary Public in Florida and an avid long-distance runner, constantly pushing himself both personally and professionally. Adam is also the owner of Book It Studios in Orlando, where he coaches actors at all stages of their careers, sharing his wealth of experience and passion for the craft. A proud Florida resident, Adam enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, exploring the state's world-famous theme parks and beautiful beaches.
