Doug Belgrad is a veteran film executive and producer renowned for his long tenure at Sony Pictures Entertainment and the founding of his own production banner, 2.0 Entertainment.
Raised in Highland Park, Illinois, Belgrad graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 before beginning his career as a securities analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Company. He joined Columbia Pictures in 1989 through the Management Associate Training Program and steadily rose through the executive ranks.

He also oversaw critically acclaimed, Academy Award-nominated projects such as The Social Network, Zero Dark Thirty, Captain Phillips, and American Hustle.
In 2016, Belgrad transitioned into independent producing by founding 2.0 Entertainment, a film and television production and co-financing company based at Sony Pictures. Through 2.0 Entertainment, he produced and co-financed major hits including Bad Boys for Life (2020), Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024), Gran Turismo (2023), and The Pope’s Exorcist (2023). In mid-2024, Belgrad joined Netflix as Vice President of Film, where he currently oversees the streamer’s film slate.
