Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and raised in Evansville, Indiana, he began
writing professionally at the age of seventeen. Writing for websites,
the occasionally op-ed for the local paper, and as a entertainment and
rock journalist for News4U magazine (a local magazine, distributed
through Indiana and Kentucky).
Seeking better and bigger things Larry moved to Los Angeles in 2001. He
embarked on a short-lived career in independent film production as a
script supervisor.
Larry returned to the freelance world of the written word in the Summer
of 2002 with the re-write of the pilot script, then titled for "Love
Fetish" (subsequently re-titled "Fetish", later re-titled "Think
Kinky").
Thereafter he took up the position of head screenwriter for Marullus
Productions, Inc. penning the pilot teleplay and story of the science
fiction drama "Metropolis". In September of 2002 he completed his first
feature film script for Mother Nature Productions, tentatively
entitled, "Perfect Plan". Larry wrote four more feature films in two
years, optioning them to Marullus Productions, Inc. while also taking
the reigns as MPI's Vice-President until March 2004 when he split with
the company over creative differences.
He currently splits his time between various writing projects, script
supervising, and producing short films for fledgling companies and new
directors. Larry lives in Hollywood, California, and currently seeks
Truth, Beauty, Love, and a Good Agent.
