Ashley Rubay is a sound editor with deep roots in post-production and a sharp ear for emotionally driven storytelling. Raised in the world of film, she spent her early years tagging along to dub stages like Weddington Productions and Todd AO, where she fell in love with the magic of sound long before she knew it would become her career.

A frequent collaborator on animated, live-action, and episodic projects, Ashley brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work. She blends her love for language, culture, and performance. She earned an MPSE Golden Reel Award for her work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and continues to work at the intersection of precision and intuition, always prioritizing clarity, character, and creative collaboration.

Ashley is passionate about helping filmmakers uncover the emotional core of their stories through sound and believes that the best mixes begin with meaningful conversations.
