Shannon Gisela is a South Florida native, raised there by her Venezuelan mother and Irish-American father. Shannon attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her B.S. in Psychology with a Specialty in Leadership Studies. She began her journey into acting by way of collegiate improvisation and has since gone on to win a Saturday Night Live x Upright Citizens Brigade Scholarship. She has also graced the screen in premieres at Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals and has worked as a main cast member of Netflix's latest adult animated series Strip Law, set to release in 2026.
While she has a strong background in comedy, Shannon landed her very first professional acting credit as the lead in the gritty, crime thriller M.I.A., from Ozark co-creator, Bill Dubuque. The show is set to release in 2026.
