Marek Lichtenberg, an emerging and dynamic force in the film and entertainment industry, wearing many hats - producer, creative producer, actor and director of production at Saint Halo Productions. Leveraging his legal and travel background, Marek excels at uniting filmmakers worldwide to create compelling movies through cross-cultural partnerships. He passionately believes in the concept of "filmtrepreneurship" His latest venture is co-founding Global Edge Media Ltd, also known as "GEM."

Recently accepted into the Producer's network at the international film festival Cannes (Marche Du Cannes), Marek's focus on international productions, particularly in South America and Southeast Asia, has opened doors to exciting possibilities, hinting at groundbreaking ventures ahead.

One of his latest projects, the spine-chilling psychological thriller "Dirty Boy," set amidst the breathtaking Austrian Alps, recently wrapped. Looking forward, Marek is steering upcoming productions in 2024, including the award-winning period drama "Muddy Shoes," honored at the Page Awards 2022. He's also spearheading an action heist dark comedy set in the UK and developing an international co-production action comedy.

Going beyond traditional storytelling, Marek has embarked on an engaging six-part documentary series focusing on sustainability across popular travel destinations in South America and South Europe, with the Canary Islands serving as the epicenter. Marek's portfolio features diverse global projects, including the Z-Gen drama "The Flowers," the emotionally charged period love drama "The Final 45" set during WW2, and evocative period pieces such as "Angela" (1980) and "On The Run" (1970s). Additionally, two short films from 2023 that he produced ("Satisfaction", "The Rally") are currently on the festival circuit and have already been accepted into festivals qualifying for BIFA/BAFTA.

His expertise spans operational aspects of filmmaking, excelling in production, line producing, and location management. Additionally, he's trained in various disciplines, enhancing his skills in VFX set supervision and post-production.

Multilingual and culturally immersed, Marek draws creative inspiration from diverse cultures, shaping his cinematic vision. Beyond the camera, he champions mental well-being and sustainability, embodying his principles on and off the screen. Not to mention his great passion in CrossFit and powerlifting, he finds it as a form of relaxation and challenging outdoor activities.
