Hans van Riet is an award-winning Multi Camera Live Television Director
with more than two decades experience directing a wide variety of
television programs for both the U.S. and European television markets.
Hans is an expert in Live 3D, Game Shows, Award Shows, Music, Variety,
Talk and unscripted competition formats.
With more than 400 hours of prime time television under his belt, Hans
set the tone on the first season of 'The Amazing Race.' Working with
Adrian Grenier, he tried to make the world a better place in 'Alter
Eco' and, being used to large scale live productions, he tackled
'Cha$e' for SyFy. Hans is the go-to guy for Game Show pilots, and most
recently, he directed the live 3D broadcast of the 123rd Tournament of
Roses Parade for HGTV and DIRECTV to critical acclaim.
