Lilly Krug

Lilly Krug is an internationally working actress and producer with a career spanning independent cinema and major studio productions. Born in Germany and based in Los Angeles, she brings a distinctly European sensibility to her work-rooted in psychological depth, emotional intelligence, and a strong visual and narrative point of view.

She first gained international recognition through roles in Salt and Fire directed by Werner Herzog, the award-winning short film Malou, and the psychological thriller Every Breath You Take alongside Casey Affleck. She went on to play the female lead opposite John Malkovich in the suspense thriller Shattered, followed by the action blockbuster Plane, starring alongside Gerard Butler. Across genres, her performances are marked by emotional precision, restraint, and a compelling inner life.

Most recently, Lilly wrapped Warner Bros.’ highly anticipated international film adaptation of The Scorpions’ story, Wind of Change, as well as the gripping drama, Easy, based on the New York Times bestseller. She also stars in the upcoming feature April X alongside Connor Storrie-a film that has already garnered 51 festival awards and 21 nominations worldwide. Her portrayal of a young woman navigating a fractured past and an uncertain future is being hailed as a standout, award-worthy performance.

She stars in the ZDF streaming series, Club der Dinosaurier, a bold blend of coming-of-age drama and science fiction, the series once again highlights her versatility and magnetism for a new generation of viewers.
