Derek Kun is a Canadian born actor, screenwriter, producer, musician and composer known for November 1963 (2026), The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story (2023) and The Disappearance of Cari Farver (2022). Before putting his focus into acting, he was a professional touring and recording artist as the lead vocalist for Guy Smiley (Epitaph, Smallman, Devil Doll records) and Burnthe8track (Century Media/Abacus, Curve/Universal Music) recording and releasing 6 albums worldwide and touring extensively in over 30 countries. Derek Kun studied Theatre, Film, Anthropology and Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba. He is married to actress Carolina Campos.
