Daisuke Watanabe (born March 11, 1974) is a Japanese video game scenario writer working at Square Enix. Known for his work on the Final Fantasy series, Watanabe first work was in 'Final Fantasy X (2001)', where he was assisted by other staff members while creating the game's scenario. In March 2006, he joined the Final Fantasy XIII development team was the lead scenario writer. He also worked on Kingdom Hearts video game series.
