Matthew Vey is an actor born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He attended Northcliff High School before studying acting for film at The New York Film Academy on a full scholarship and is most well known in film for his role as Michael Sachs in Oliver Hermanus' "Moffie" (2019). He has recently played the role of Riley in Jem Garland's "Invasive" (2024), now streaming on Tubi and since relocating to Cape Town he has been prevalent in television as well. He appears in eVod' "Stout" (2023) as Cosmo and is featuring as 'Wesley' in "Summertide" (2024) on Mnet.
