Michael Derry is the creator, writer, and illustrator of Troy Comics, the internationally syndicated gay comic strip. An animation veteran, his work spans commercial design, pop art apparel, and award-winning animation. He wrote and produced the animated short Troy: Naked Bars, Sing! and has designed characters for commercials, shorts, and Baz Luhrmann's The Get Down on Netflix.
He also voices Flippy and Frank-series lead and regular-on the hit animated series Clay Kids, one of the UK's most popular kids shows.
Michael has story-boarded for Microsoft, EA Games, Target, and BMW. His latest work appears in Maxxie LaWow: Drag Super-Shero, a dazzling, high-energy feature wowing festival crowds. He most passionate about his animated pilot, Frankie's Place.
