Soprano. An Honoured Artist of Russia (1995). Graduated from the
Novosibirsk Conservatoire in 1988. With the Mariinsky Theatre since
1990. Has performed in the world's major opera houses. Her repertoire
includes her incredible performance as Renata (The Fiery Angel), Lisa
(The Queen Of Spades), Fevronia (The Legend of the Invisible City of
Kitezh), Floria Tosca (Tosca), Aida (Aida), Iolanta (Iolanta) and
Leonora in both (Il Trovatore) and (La Forza del destino). Voted singer
of the year by the London Royal Philharmonic Society in 1994. Resides
in Saint Petersburg with her husband and family.
