Biography

Andrea Guo is an actress based in Berlin, working across European and international film and television. A graduate of the Film Acting School Cologne, she completed her training in 2019 and quickly established herself with roles in high-profile series and feature productions. She first gained attention with performances in Sky’s horror series Hausen and Netflix’s German Genius, followed by appearances in international ensemble productions such as The Swarm. Andrea reached global recognition with her role as Lin Wang in Amazon Prime Video’s worldwide hit series Maxton Hall - The World Between Us, which became one of the platform’s most successful international releases. The series received multiple awards, including the prestigious Bambi Award, and has already returned for its second season.

She can next be seen in Amazon’s upcoming release Love Me Love Me, further expanding her international profile. In addition, she will appear in the "House of Yang", underlining her growing presence across both national and international screens. House of Yang is a six-part mystery series selected for its world premiere in the Berlinale Special section at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.

Fluent in German, English, and Mandarin, she brings a multilingual and culturally nuanced approach to her work.
