Phoenix Irvine was born on the east coast of Australia on 22 December 2010. He is 12 years old with a mature acting age of up to 15 years. Phoenix is a natural coordinated athlete - surfing, skating and all ball sports. In 2019 Phoenix had his first taste of screen acting reaching the final stages of audition for the Australian feature film Penguin Bloom involving script coaching by leading Australian actor Josh Kwong Tart. He was the lead actor for a 2021 short film 'Real World' winning Best Youth Actor at Venice Shorts. He was the hero actor in BigW's 2022 Christmas campaign and also starred in a Toyota Cricket Australia TVC in 2022. Phoenix has a natural ability for accents and has authentic Standard American, Texan, RP English and Cockney. Phoenix has a natural screen presence with an intuitive understanding of character. emotions and relationships and is regularly shortlisted for Australian and international films. On set, Phoenix is confident and patient with quick uptake of direction. Phoenix's point of difference is his Waldorf Steiner primary school education that has cultivated strong creative expression, storytelling, languages (Indonesian) and appreciation of the performing arts with quarterly class drama productions. Aside from surfing, Phoenix is passionate about music - both guitar and singing.
