Biography

Cory Wexler Grant is an actor, writer, director and producer. He spent his formative years in San Francisco and Chicago, and moved to New York City permanently after being accepted into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Cory graduated with a BFA in acting, and has worked for the last 20 years as an actor. Cory wrote and directed his first feature film, "Painter" - a psychosexual drama - , in 2018 (Official Selection LA Independent Film Festival, and Grand Prize, Best Feature Film at Rhode Island International Film Festival, 2020). His next feature film, the coming-of-age comedy "Screams From The Tower", was completed in 2024 (Official Selection, Dances With Films; Best Feature Film, LGBTQ+ Toronto Film Festival; Audience Award, Reeling Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival; Best Screenplay, Midwest Film Festival). Cory has two features in pre-production - "Theo Is One" (filming in 2025), and "Unstoppable" (set for production in 2027), as well as several other films in development.
