Biography

Gabriel Georgiou is an Australian born Hair Stylist of Greek heritage. He completed his graduation from the Toni & Guy Academy of Hair in London. The versatile artist has worked in Hollywood on the celebrity circuit looking after various stars, including Drew Barrymore, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Cate Blanchett, Chloe Sevigny, Robert Downey Jr., Keanu Reeves and Joaquin Phoenix to name a few.

Owing to his ever-increasing portfolio and prolific credentials, he has left an unperturbed mark and crafted his own niche. In Bollywood, he has been styling for popular actors, such as Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Freida Pinto, among others.

Gabriel was awarded the Vogue India Hair Stylist of the Year in July of 2014 at the Vogue Beauty Awards and Best Hair Expert in October 2018 at the Elle Beauty Awards. The maverick artist was the lead hair stylist for many super hit movies, which include Bombay Velvet, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Fighter, Jawaan, Dhaakad and Sanju. He was the stylist for the likes of Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone.

He is also a keen practitioner of Falun Dafa, an ancient Chinese Qi Gong practice of mind and body, and is working on a personal project which draws inspiration from Traditional Ancient Chinese Culture, which is slowly being eradicated since the communist party took power.

Gabriel is also working on a book based on the diversity of Exotic Beauty: A collection of Images and portraits of actresses and models over a twelve year journey working in the fashion and film industry of India.

Having created his own legacy, he intends to keep enhancing the efficiency of his artistic brilliance and make his mark in the long run.
