Lorena E. González is a Mexican American actress and producer born in Texas and raised in Cuernavaca, México. After attending the Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors and graduating from USC MFA Acting program ‘21, Lorena has starred in films such as "Everyday Shit" (Oscar Qualifying LA Shorts International Festival Official Selection and Award Winner '23, Oscar Qualifying Hollyshorts Monthly Screening Series Official Selection, Venice Shorts Film Fest "Best Indie Film" and "Best Producer" AW, and LA Independent Women Film Awards "Best Emerging Filmmaker" AW) a film which she also directed, wrote and produced based on a true story about violence against women, "Lo que Dice el Corazón" (México’s Top 20 domestic box office hits ’25), and "Dos Noches en Bilbao" (Shorts México, FICMY Mérida y Yucatán FF Official Selection). Lorena also acted in "Gara’s Return" produced by Troublemaker Studios Vice President Elizabeth Avellán, and various plays such as "Mother Sisters" at The Echo Theatre Company in LA. Apart from filmmaking, Lorena works with "Fundación del Dr. Simi" promoting mental health and is an advocate of several social justice organizations and causes.
