After working as a banker in the audiovisual sector in London and Paris, Remi Burah joined Haut et Court as a partner, managing director, and CEO of the communication agency, working there for 8 years.
He joined ARTE France Cinema, the film branch of the European TV channel, in 2001 and is actually Deputy CEO.
He is also CEO of ARTE Cofinova, a finance company he has initiated in 2004 in partnership with Sofica french tax system and President of ARTE KINO Endowment Fund that he has initiated in 2016 to organize the ARTE Kino Festival, the first European film festival on line.
He has collaborated in more than 600 features films coproductions of french and international filmmakers : Leos Carax, Ruben Ostlund, Alice Rohrwacher, Joachim Trier, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Julia Ducournau, Jafar Panahi, Wim Wenders, Lars Von Trier, Wong Kar-wai , Michael Haneke, Patrice Chereau, Maiwenn, Aki Kaurismaki, Mathieu Amalric, Hou Hsiao Hsien, Luc et Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Mia Hansen-LĂžve, Bertrand Bonello, Marjane Satrapi, ... among others.
