Paul Rowe is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer from Columbus, Georgia, and the founder of Last Caress Productions. A champion of independent cinema, Rowe is committed to using film as both an art form and a catalyst for local growth. His most recent feature, Southern Scares, starring horror legend Dee Wallace, wrapped production in 2025.
Beyond his own films, Rowe has been instrumental in strengthening Columbus’s creative economy. As a co-founder of the CineForge Co-Op, he works tirelessly to create opportunities for regional filmmakers, emphasizing local crews and small businesses.
With projects ranging from revisionist westerns to animated adventures, Rowe’s work reflects both versatility and vision. His mission is clear: to establish Columbus as a premier hub for independent filmmaking in the Southeast, while elevating voices and stories that might otherwise remain untold.
