Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She is considered one of Mexico's most prestigious & versatile actors as well as an outstanding choreographer. In 2015, she moved with her family to the US, within months she was cast as one of the leads of the hit television series "Queen of the South", where she played "Camila Vargas" the character quickly became a fan favorite. She has worked in several prestige television shows, such as: "Ozark" opposite to Laura Linney, Julia Garner & Jason Bateman. HBO's "Perry Mason" opposite to Matthew Rhys & John Lithgow, Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed "Perpetual Grace Ltd" with Sir Ben Kingsley, Luis Guzmán & Jackie Weaver, Marc Cherry's "Why Women Kill" season two & Ryan Murphy's "911" amongst many others.

Her filmography includes: "Lee Cronin's The Mummy" with Jack Renoir & Laia Costa, Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she played "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt & Jesse Plemons. "A Million Miles Away" opposite to Michael Peña. "The Forever Purge" opposite to Tenoch Huerta, "Voyagers" opposite to Collin Farrell. Academy Award Nominee Ted Melfi directed her in "The Starling" opposite to Chris O'Dowd & Melissa McCarthy. Other films include Blumhouse Horror film "Imaginary" & "Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe", "The Forever Purge", "Bethesda" and others. Veronica's first film credit was "El Callejon de los Milagros" directed by Jorge Fons, the film became one of the most awarded films in Mexican cinema. But it was not until she played "La Madrina" in Everardo Gout's "Days of Grace" that she had her breakthrough. Other LATAM film credits include: "A Monster of a Thousand Heads" directed by the multi-awarded director Rodrigo Plá, the remake of the cult film "Hasta el Viento tiene miedo", "Los Herederos", "Canela", "Salvando al Soldado Pérez", "Eddy Reynolds","Besos de Azúcar" directed by Oscar Nominee Carlos Cuarón and many more. She has over one hundred television and stage credits in the LATAM market.

She started her career on stage. When she lived in Berlin & Mexico, she ran her own independent theatre company. On stage, she holds credits as an actress, director, choreographer, producer & playwright. In 2013, she won a playwright grant from the "Global Micro-Theatre Project". Her play was produced & had successful runs in Mexico City and Miami. 2022 marked Veronica's New York stage debut, she play Widow Greene in "The Redbull Theatre Company" off Broadway production of "Arden of Faversham". Veronica won the "HOLA Award" for Excellence in the theatre as Best Supporting Actress for that role. As a choreographer, she was invited several times to collaborate with Mexico's National Opera. Her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the Company. She also choreographed many LATAM Pop Stars of the nineties.

She has been nominated twice for the "Imagen Award". Veronica's work in Cuarón's film got her nominated as Best Supporting Actress by the Mexican Film Critics Association. In 2019 she was honored with the "Impact Award" given by the National Hispanic Media Coalition for excellence in television and in 2024, the Santa Fe Film Festival honored her with the "The Trailblazer Visionary Award", that year she also won the "Best Actress Award" from the SFFF. In 2025, Veronica was invited as a panelist to the Tribeca Film Festival in Lisbon where she was awarded a medal for her trajectory. At age fifteen, Veronica got a Teacher's Degree in English, she is also fluent in German & French. She is developing projects for theate & television, editing a compilation of her short stories for publication and curating her photographic work. She keeps her personal live very private, she has one son, she is divorced and lives in Los Angeles, California.
