Arpita Chatterjee

Arpita Chatterjee, a former journalist turned film writer, wrote the acclaimed Three of Us directed by Avinash Arun, an intimate relationship drama that released in November 2023. She has also written the romantic comedy Khwabon Ka Jhamela directed by Danish Aslam - a story set in London - that is to be released soon. Arpita wrote the short film Siblings for director Sheetal Menon that won Best Writing and Best Short Film at the Critics Guild Awards in 2019. She wrote the short film Edhiri directed by Bejoy Nambiar for the Netflix anthology Navarasa produced by the legend Maniratnam. She also wrote the screenplay for Char Log Kya Kahenge that won the NFDC Screenwriters Lab in 2014. Arpita is currently developing her own show and working on a film script and a series.
