Biography

Anson Lo (Lo Hon Ting) is a Cantopop singer and actor from Hong Kong. A member of the boy band Mirror, which debuted in 2018, Anson started his solo career in 2020 with the launch of his dance pop single "A Lifelong Mission", and he won the Best Newcomer (Bronze) award at the Ultimate Music Awards.

Anson Lo's first major acting credit was a major supporting role as Bobby in the Hong Kong youth sports drama series "We Are The Littles" (2020), which he starred alongside his Mirror teammates. Anson achieved international recognition in 2021 when he was awarded Best New Asian Artist Award at the prestigious Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) in South Korea, for his breakout Cantopop dance hit "Megahit". That same year, Anson Lo also starred in the hit television drama "Ossan's Love (Hong Kong Version)", playing the memorable lovelorn character Muk, which won him the popularly-voted Hong Kong "TV King" award.

Anson Lo launched his film career playing the lead role in "Showbiz Spy" (2021), a comedy teen film which showcased his potential as a martial arts star. In 2022, Anson Lo displayed his comedic chops again playing the lead role in the ensemble television drama series "Million Dollar Family" (2022), an original Hong Kong drama produced by ViuTV. This was followed by his critically acclaimed acting in the award-winning horror film "It Remains" (2023), where Anson Lo was praised by the South China Morning Post as making his "acting breakthrough in a supernatural horror thriller full of atmosphere and spooky imagery." That year, Anson Lo also took the lead role starring as Timo in the remake of the Korean drama "Business Proposal (Hong Kong version)" (2023), a romantic comedy series highly rated by audiences.

In 2024, Anson Lo starred as a main lead in the ensemble heist movie "The Moon Thieves" (2024), which was both critically-acclaimed and a box office success. In 2025, Anson Lo has been announced by Variety as guest-starring in the international drama "The Season", produced by PCCW Media and SK Global Entertainment, which will be his debut in an English-language drama.
