Biography

Angie Lin is an actress born and raised in Taiwan, based in Los Angeles. She is a native Mandarin-speaker, bilingual in English, fluent in Taiwanese dialect and conversational in Japanese.

Angie graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts with a BA degree in Media Arts + Practice and 2 minors: Architecture and Dance. She studies Stanislavski Method with Gregory Berger-Sobeck at Berg Studio, and is a member of both SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association. Angie's films have won a total of 23 awards, 4 of which were Best Actress awards.

Angie is also a stunt performer with a certificate from JCST (Jackie Chan Stunt Team) Action Film Camp 2025. She has various martial arts training including Boxing, Extreme Martial Arts, Wushu, and tricking.

Additionally, Angie is a street dancer who trained with pioneers like Tony GoGo, Richie Rich, and Viktor Manoel. She specializes in Locking, with other experiences in Whacking, Hip Hop, Breaking, House, Heels, and Salsa. Angie has participated in multiple regional competitions such as Ultimate Brawl, Bridge Dance Competition, Maxt Out, and Urban Street Jam with collegiate team Chaotic 3.

Angie is a singer as well. She has trained with April Diamond, Briana Lyn, and Marquita Waters. Angie performed in The Group Rep Theater's musicals Drat! The Cat! and The Altruist, both directed by Bruce Kimmel.

Recently, a black-and-white silent short film - Cost Of Joy - written, directed, produced and edited by Angie Lin has gained global attention. It will be screening in Houston, North Carolina, Toronto (Canada), Cyprus, and Palermo (Italy) across 2025.
