JT Salcido is a Los Angeles-based director and editor originally from Pasadena, California. A graduate of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Salcido has built a body of work spanning drama, science fiction, and action-comedy.
His directing credits include Off the Record (2025), Biologic (2024), and Bring Me His Goddamn Head! (2023), with films screening at festivals including the Beverly Hills Film Festival, San Diego International Film Festival, and the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts Fest. As an editor, he works across a wide variety of narrative and advertising projects, with his most recent credit being the feature film Normal with a Capital N, set to begin its festival run in 2026.
