Biography

Colin Moss was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to parents Veronica Salt and Richard Moss. He is of English (his paternal grandfather was an East-Ender), Irish (maternal & paternal), Germanic and South African heritage. Colin exploded onto South African screens straight out of university, with the role of Stuart Buller on the popular South African drama, Isidingo and subsequently become household name with appearances in local and international television series and films, including Women in Love with Rosamund Pike, the award-winning The World Unseen and Elly Beinhorn with Vicky Krieps. Before he established himself in television he was cutting his teeth on the local stand-up comedy and improv circuit and continues to perform comedy between acting gigs.

Colin has spent the better part of a decade splitting his time between Cape Town and New York. In his first year in the States, he booked a recurring role on Marvel's hit Netflix series, Jessica Jones, which earned him his SAG-AFTRA union membership and New York representation. He then worked with director Joe Wright in Netflix's Black Mirror (Downfall), David Simon's The Deuce for HBO, a supporting role in Peter Hutchings film, Then Came You and the role of Drew Conrad in Netflix's, Christmas in the Wild, opposite Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis.

Colin has been a series regular on SyFy's, Vagrant Queen, HBO's Warrior, The Morning After for Prime, and Netflix's hit South African series, Unseen. His most recent roles include, Charles Hardin in 1923 for Paramount+, the top-of-show guest star role of Graham Flynn in The Blacklist, Prime Minister Lowe in G20 for Prime, and Nick Jolly in Faith in The Flames for Lifetime.

Colin's theatre roles include Tom in Neil LaBute's Fat Pig and Paul in David Hare's My Zinc Bed. He also has extensive mo-cap experience having worked with Rockstar Games on Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption II. Colin does frequent local and international voice over work and hosted the South African versions of Fear Factor and Idols.
