Kamilla was born to Fary and the late Ulf Bjorlin, Sr. and is the sister of
five siblings: Kaj, Katja, Nadia, Ulf, and Jean-Paul.
Kamilla's acting career began at an early age - she has appeared in
over forty theatrical productions since age 7, and has had lead roles
in "Merry Wives of Windsor," "Speed the Plow," "A Chorus Line," and
"Visit From Wild Man." She has also starred in Swedish radio,
portraying over 100 characters. Kamilla studied acting and dancing at
prestigious universities such as the Boston Conservatory and the
Performing Arts Academy in Lidingo, Sweden.
Kamilla has appeared on every major television network, and her credits
include Predators, Days of our Lives, Maximum Bob, The Hugh Hefner
Story, and a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Her major film productions include Princess Diaries II, Miss Castaway,
Raising Helen, Ghost Dog, Devil's Knight, and Last Marshall.
From 1993-97, Kamilla was involved with the female group, Touch, in
which she was the main choreographer and singer. Kamilla has performed
in many venues, including the Boston City Hall, the Venetian in Las
Vegas, the Hollywood Bowl Universal Amphitheater, Greek Theater, and at
the closing of Boston Garden.
In Kamilla's spare time, she enjoys singing, kickboxing, tae-kwon-do,
fencing, water and snow skiing, ice skating, rollerblading, hiking,
mountain biking, horseback riding (Western & English) and dancing. She
is proficient in several styles of dance, such as hip-hop, street,
funk, jazz, salsa, and belly dancing. Kamilla is also fluent in Swedish
and English, and conversational in French and Farsi.
