26-year-old Nicola MacLean first leapt into the media spotlight when she started modelling for "Page 3" of "The Sun" and "Daily Star". She was an immediate hit with the readers of both papers and featured on "Page 3" a few times every week for several years.
During her time as a "Page 3" girl/celebrity model, Nicola was often featured on tabloid showbiz gossip pages and appeared as a celebrity guest on many TV shows, including
The Weakest Link (2000) (Page 3 special);
Richard & Judy (2001);
The Big Breakfast (1992);
"Test The Nation" (2000) (WAGs Special). She was also the main star in the ITV's television documentary, The Sexiest Girls In Britain (2000).
Nicola retired from "Page 3" and topless modelling in 2006 after having her son, Rocky. However, in January 2008, she returned to modelling and the spotlight after being asked to be one of the main stars in the Channel Five primetime TV documentary,
Help!! I've Got a high Maintenance Wife! (2008).
