James Helsing is an alumnus of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in England. London productions include King Lear, The School for Scandal, Henry V, The Pillars of Society and The Cherry Orchard. Summer stock credits include The Pirates of Penzance, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, A Marriage Proposal and Love Letters. Tours include A Christmas Carol and DA.
He made his feature film directing debut with the Lionsgate release
